Subject: Message from WA State Good Sams Club President
Hi members –
The next WA State Good Sams Club RV Rally is fast approaching. Have you sent in your registration form yet? The Rally is September 11-15, 2024 (but you can come as early as Monday, Sept. 9th) at the Chelan County Fairgrounds in Cashmere with full hook-up. The registration is on the Events Tab web page.
Again, we will be offering a $10 discount a day for the stay of Wed-Sat nights for anyone that has not been to the Cashmere Rally before.
We are in the process of putting the agenda together, which should be soon. So far, we have two nights of great entertainment, Daybreak Canyon Bluegrass and Kevin Jones duo.
We will be having Goody Bags and are hoping that every Chapter has something to add to that. Please bring about 75-80 items for the bags.
There will be a Board of Directors meeting on Friday morning. Is there anything that you would like for your Chapter President to discuss at that meeting? Please let them know.
We would like to have at least one additional Photographer volunteer to take pictures. Steve Erickson has volunteered (thank you Steve) and we are looking for one or two additional members. Please let us know if you are interested.
We need a Club President replacement after 2025. We will accept nominations next year for the Club President position for 2026-2027. We would help in many ways to make that job easier for the next person. Come talk to us at the Rally or call us with questions.
There will be a Food Bank collection at the Rally so bring in some non-perishable items. What Chapter would like to take the items to their local food bank after the Rally?
We will be having another complimentary Catered Dinner at this Rally.
A representative from KleenTank will be at the Rally all week cleaning black, grey and hot water tanks for whoever wishes to have it done. There were about 17 that had already signed up at the Lynden Rally to have this done at Cashmere. For those that have not yet sign up for this service, the Cashmere Rally price is a discounted price of $275.
On Sunday there will be a Memorial for those members we have lost this past year since our last Cashmere Rally. If you know of someone who has passed, please let us know if you haven’t already.
