Hi Members, I hope you are all doing well and excited for our upcoming events! We have an RV Rally coming up real soon, and we are ready with a complete agenda.
It is the Lynden Rally at the NW WA Fairgrounds from April 30-May 4. You can come in as soon as Monday, April 28th, but not before. You will find a registration and agenda attached for your convenience. I have also attached the registration for the Fall Rally at Cashmere, September 14-18, at the Chelan County Fairgrounds.
We have discounted the registration fees by $10 for Wed-Sat nights for the First Timers that have never been to the Lynden Rally. This is to inspire those that have never been to the Lynden Rally to come and enjoy all the fun. Then hopefully, they will come again.
We have some exciting entertainment planned. "Rewinders" are back by popular demand. We also have a great singer coming to entertain us, "Michael Dayvid," and a group of about 20 singers we had many years ago, "Mount Baker Toppers," which have now opened to female vocals in their group.
Wednesday there will be Line Dance instructions.
Friday there will be a craft project.
Every day there will be games.
On Saturday there will be an Emergency Preparedness Seminar that you don't want to miss.
And you don't want to miss the Flag Retirement ceremony given by the Military Sams Chapter. Bring in your old flags to retire.
Your presence and participation are essential to the success of our rallies. We are losing more and more members every year, mostly because of age and not being able to RV any longer. We haven't received as many potential members through our website as we have in years past. I believe the newer generation aren't joiners, therefore not looking for an RV group to join. As individuals, we must all try to recruit other RVers to join so that our Club can continue.
On that note, we have not yet received any nominations for the Club President position for 2026-27. Please consider nominating yourself or someone else for the Club President position to ensure our club's future. If no one steps up we can't continue as a Club and may disband coming this September at our final RV Rally of the year at Cashmere .
We can't wait to see you at the Lynden Rally and share these wonderful experiences together! Thank you for being a part of our Club.
